New Delhi, January 31, 2023: In attempt to recognise pathbreaking start-ups, the Delhi – NCR Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a global non- organisation dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, is inviting entries for its 15th edition of the TiE -Lumis Entrepreneurial Excellence Award. The concept of the awards was envisioned to support entrepreneurs in their efforts, and to reward those who persevered in making their enterprises successful. The platform in partnership with Lumis, showcases founding teams of fast-growing, highly potential startups that are breaking new ground with their passion & innovation.
“Over the last 15 years, TiE Lumis Entrepreneurial Excellence Award has established a rich heritage and a distinctive track record of recognising stellar start-ups and entrepreneurs. The platform not only provides a spotlight but also has been instrumental in the venture’s success, said Upasana Sharma, Sr. Director, TiE Delhi-NCR. “If you feel that you, as an entrepreneur, and your firm are on the right path and have the potential to grow bigger, and could make a difference in the space, then this is the platform to showcase yourself with the likes of VLCC, MakeMyTrip, iXigo, 1MG, Moglix, to name a few.”
All participating startups and entrepreneurs will be assessed by a jury that includes some of the industry’s most renowned and accomplished leaders. The TiE Lumis Entrepreneurial Excellence Award will assess participants’ tactical skills and would provide them with the opportunity to establish connections with industry veterans.
“With these awards, we aim to provide motivation to flourishing startups to do better. At the same time, we aim to help them with the right tools and knowledge that would help them in the long run. All the previous award recipients are successfully, functioning in their respective fields with their brand name and recognition having only increased exponentially from the time they were awarded the TiE Lumis Entrepreneurial Award. ” Sandeep Sinha, Partner, Lumis.
In its 15th session, TiE’s unique initiative aims to uncover some of the most innovative, sustainable, and high-potential companies. The last date to file entries is February 4, 2023. All entries will be shortlisted, and finalists will be selected after Jury rounds. Finally, finalists will be awarded at TiE Delhi-NCR’s flagship event, TiEcon Delhi 2023 on March 17-18.
