· 124 scientific presentations by students and faculty from across 33 Dental Colleges at 7th CEAT PG Colloquium Organized by SDC
Chennai, 14th Sep 2022: Aesthetic Dentistry represents not just the beautification of the teeth but which also includes the surrounding soft tissue and provides a holistic solution or treatment to the patient. It is an elective treatment that transforms the smile of the person. The 7th CEAT PG Colloquium was organized by the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Saveetha Dental College, SIMATS along with Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics association of Tamil Nadu.
Dr. Deepak Nallaswamy and the guest Dr.Stepen Lampl, Edelweiss Dentistry Austria. The conference was themed as Aesthetics and Restorative Dentistry and was attended by 260 delegates who had registered and witnessed 124 scientific presentations by students and faculty from across 33 Dental Colleges.
International speaker Dr.Stephan Lampl, Said on silica glass laser sintered restorative material, which is a patented technology. Saveetha Dental College is the only educational institution in South India that holds an exclusive MOU with Edelweiss. The undergraduate students were awarded with cash prizes, certificates and trophies for their clinical and research work. A total of 28 awards were given to the best presentations
