7SEA ESPORTS EMERGES WINNER OF BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SHOWDOWN POWERED BY LOCO

New Delhi, July 25th, 2022: BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SHOWDOWN (BMSD) tournament Powered by Loco concluded on 24th July where 7SEA ESPORTS was crowned as the winner, taking home a prize money of INR 5 lakhs. ORANGUTAN and ENIGMA GAMING also put up a solid fight, securing second and third place, respectively. The tournament marks the first official LAN event of BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA.

1st Place: 7SEA ESPORTS (INR 5 lakhs)
2nd Place: ORANGUTAN (INR 2.5 lakhs)
3rd Place: ENIGMA GAMING (INR 1 lakh)
Most Valuable Player (MVP): SPRAYGOD from 7SEA ESPORTS (INR 50,000)
Grenadier: FIERCE from Team XO (INR 50,000)
Longest finish: DRIGER from Team ORANGUTAN (INR 50,000)
Team with most finishes: 7SEA ESPORTS (INR 50,000)

BMSD commenced on 21st July and saw 24 teams compete against each other in a round-robin format for 3 days. The top 16 teams on the overall leaderboard went on to compete on the fourth and final-day match. The participating teams were selected from the BATTLEGORUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES 2021 and BMPS 2022 S1 finalists. The total prize pool for the tournament was INR 15 lakhs.

During the prize distribution ceremony, Sean announced the beginning of registrations for BGIS 2022, giving all esports players another chance to prove their skills.
