Bariatric Surgeon Dr Aparna Govil Bhasker from Mumbai Participated in Art Exhibition in Mumbai

Mumbai: Deepkala Foundation organized Doctor’s Art Show in Mumbai wherein doctors from across India participated by showcasing their paintings, photography, and sculptures. This exhibition was conducted to promote the artwork of doctors at the national and international levels for the purpose of social cause. The amount raised through this event will be donated to a charity to help the needy.

Art has no boundaries. Whether it is painting, photography or any of its other forms, the power of art can heal, spread love, and peace and bring people together. Doctors’ Art Show is organized to spread the message of unity and brotherhood, and for the betterment of society. This unique initiative has received a great response from people.

Dr Aparna Govil Bhasker, Bariatric and Laparoscopic surgeon, Saifee, Apollo Spectra, Namaha and Currae Hospitals, Mumbai said, “Professional doctors from all over the country have participated in this group exhibition of paintings and photography. Amongst doctors, there are many talented artists who despite a busy schedule make an effort to persist with their artistic hobbies. The art showcased by my fellow participants is simply amazing. Every painting carries a special message. The paintings, photos, and sculptures speak at length about the culture in India and are mesmerizing. The objective is to promote doctor artists and showcase their work. All the participating doctors have done a great job and a big round of applause for them for pursuing their passion despite their hectic schedules. The proceeds from the sale of my paintings will be donated to our charity foundation AuroMira Care Foundation which helps the needy. I thank Deepkala Foundation for coming up with such a unique initiative and giving me such a huge platform to showcase my talent.”
