CM Tamang chairs closing event of National Swasthya Chintan Shivir

Dehradun, July 17: Chief Minister of Sikkim Prem Singh Tamang chaired the thematic session on Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centres, Public Health Management Cadre on the closing day of 15th Central Council of Health & Family Welfare (CCHFW) Swasthya Chintan Shivir in Dehradun.

The session was conducted in presence of Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare & Chemicals & Fertilizers, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.

During the two-day brainstorming conclave, participants from different States and Union Territories engaged in discussions about numerous health-related schemes and programs. Apart from sharing their concerns about healthcare, they also presented suggestions to address the nation’s healthcare challenges.

The meeting was attended by Health Ministers from different states, Sikkim state’s Tourism Minister BS Panth, Secretary to CM SD Dhakal,

and Health Secretary Tshewang Gyachho.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister PS Tamang, met and interacted with Sikkimese students pursuing their education in Dehradun.

During the meeting, CM Tamang expressed his commitment to reaching out to those in need, including the sick individuals receiving treatment, as well as the students studying away from their home State. The gathering included students specializing in Forestry & Medical Sciences, who took the opportunity to present their concerns to the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister patiently listened to the students issues and assured them that their problems would be addressed in accordance with established norms.
