CM TAMANG KICKS OFF 2ND PHASE OF ‘GOVERNMENT AT THE DOORSTEP’ PROGRAMME

New Delhi, February 1: Chief Minister of Sikkim Prem Singh Tamang met with the public of Dzongu Constituency, North Sikkim at Forest Guest House, Nam Prik Dang, Dzongu for the second phase of ‘Governance at the Doorstep.’

Initiated on December 29, 2022, ‘Governance at the Doorstep’ is a unique initiative of the SKM Government that aims to connect with every citizen of Sikkim. In the mass meeting, the Chief Minister gives individual attention to the grievances of each of the attendees. Their grievances concern unemployment, medical assistance, financial problems etc. Possible solutions to each of the problems faced are offered on the spot. Concerned officials from relevant departments are present to assist the CM, taking necessary steps for immediate resolution.

The meeting witnessed a large public gathering from the Dzongu Constituency, wherein order and discipline was maintained. The public of six different GPUs of Dzongu were present at the meeting.

CM P. S. Tamang provided medical assistance and government employment orders to those in need during the interactive meeting.

The meeting also had the presence of Minister Roads and Bridges, MLA Dzongu, Panchayats, heads of various departments, D.C and other officers.
