EO Gurgaon to organize GSEA (Global Student Entrepreneurship Award) to provide guidance and mentorship to the Studentpreneurs

Students from top Indian colleges like SRCC, IIT, IIM, and Delhi University participated in the event
1400+ students from across the nation filled in the nomination for the GSEA and 12 studentpreneurs qualified for finals

New Delhi (INDIA), January 30th, 2023: Entrepreneurs’ Organization Gurgaon is organizing GSEA, a premier global competition for students who own and operate a business. The winners of GSEA will be announced during the finals of the event that will be organized on the 4th of February 2023 at Master’s Union School of Business, Gurugram. Nominees from around the nation competed against their peers in a series of local and national competitions to qualify for the finals. GSEA supports student entrepreneurs with mentorship, recognition, and connections to take their businesses to the next level. The winner of the GSEA will be awarded a cash prize of 1.5 lakhs along with a chance to get mentored by successful and experienced entrepreneurs and members of EO Gurgaon.

Around 1400+ students from across the nation filled in the nomination for the GSEA event out of which 12 studentpreneurs qualified the semi-finals to present their start-ups in the finale. A college student below 30 years enrolled with a college with a business that has generated a revenue of $500 or received $1000 investment was eligible to participate in the event. The start-up’s also needs to be in the operation for at least six consecutive months prior to the application. CodeMate, Project Antraat, Bili Consultancy PVT LTD, We-Moove, Project Aarogya, Azeedo Private Limited, and Virasat among a few other start-ups qualified for the semi-finals in a nail-biting semi-final and will compete against reach others in the final round of GSEA.

The participants who pitched their start-up models at different levels of the competition were from top Indian colleges like SRCC, IIT, IIM, and Delhi University. Key personalities who will be attending the final event are Harsh Binani, Founder, of Smartworks, Sreevats Jaipuria, MD, Jaipuria Group, and Prateek Maheshwari, Founder, Physics Wallah among others.

The jury that will decide the winners for the GSEA consists of well-known entrepreneurs from diverse segments which includes Nupur Goenka, Director, GD Goenka Group Saurabh Bansal, Managing Director, Dorset Industries Private Limited, Ayush Munjal, Joint Managing Director, Majestic Auto ltd, Arjun Nijhawan, Director, Nijhawan Travel Services and Arushi Bhalla, Director, Encardio Rite Electronics Pvt Ltd, among others.

Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) has been organizing the GSEA event successfully, for 4 years, which has seen a participation of more than 5k+ studentpreneurs. Start-ups like Aloecell and Spurchat have been notable ventures that bagged GSEA awards in the past and are still scaling up their start-ups in the long run.”
