New Delhi, 20 September, 2023: Strengthening the battle against breast cancer, FUJIFILM India, a leader in advancing imaging technologies for healthcare, has reached a remarkable milestone by installing 125 AMULET Innovality digital mammography machines across India as it expands its installation base continuously. This achievement represents a significant step towards the transformation in the field of digital mammography.
As per the Globocan data 2020, in India, Breast Cancer accounted for 13.5% (178361) of all cancer cases and 10.6% (90408) of all deaths.This elevates the importance of early breast cancer detection in improving survival rates. As a dominant player, FUJIFILM India feels that it is its social responsibility to promote awareness regarding the early detection of breast cancer and empower healthcare professionals with the best technologies to serve the society. The ‘Together Against Breast Cancer’ conference from 15th to 17th September 2023 was organized in Goa, was organized to support this mission.

The expert sessions delved into an array of vital topics, such as empowering young women against Breast Cancer, demystifying Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, harnessing the potential of Tomosynthesis, pioneering advancements in CEDM (Contrast-Enhanced Digital Mammography), navigating the learning curves in mammography with cutting-edge technology, and celebrating the remarkable success of Mammo in rural villages on the periphery.
