Hindu statesman Rajan Zed addressed Unity church

Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed addressed the congregants of Unity Center of Reno (Nevada, USA) on January 15.

Toni King, Spiritual Leader of Unity Center of Reno welcomed and introduced Rajan Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism; and who then spoke on “A Universal Perspective on Faith”, and answered questions.

Unity Center of Reno describes itself as: A progressive new thought community where spirituality meets reality through practical application of universal laws.

Unity Center of Reno is affiliated with Unity, headquartered in Missouri (USA). Unity portrays itself as “a global, inclusive, spiritual community” and states to “offer practical, uplifting resources to help people of all faiths apply positive spiritual principles to their lives”. Its taglines include “discover, grow, experience” and “feed your mind, body, spirit”.

Hinduism, oldest and third largest religion of the world with a rich philosophical thought, has about 1.2 billion adherents; and moksh (liberation) is its ultimate goal.
