HKPC Organises “vHK Grand Tour” AR Design Competition

Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of HKSAR and

Utilising AR Technology to Build a Green and Smart Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) will organise “vHK Grand Tour” AR Design Competition to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), encouraging Hong Kong secondary academia to combine AR technology with famous landmarks in Hong Kong, thus creating their ideal Green and Smart City landscape. It is also aimed to acquaint the public with Hong Kong once again from a novel perspective, enhancing their sense of belonging to the city. You and/or your representatives are cordially invited to attend the “vHK Grand Tour” AR Design Competition Kick-off Ceremony cum Seminar on 22 June 2022 to learn more details.

The event is funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission and supported by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO), the Education Bureau, various enterprises and organisations. Guest speakers from the government department, well-known innovation and technology enterprises and local education sector are also invited to introduce the Smart City Blueprint for Hong Kong 2.0, the latest development of immersive technologies and their applications in STEM education.

Friendly reminder: Starting from 31 May 2022, all visitors of HKPC Building must show their Vaccine Pass with at least three doses of COVID-19 vaccine or at least two doses of COVID-19 vaccine with the second dose received within six months for entering the HKPC Building. Those who are unfit for vaccination due to health reasons must show Medical Exemption Certificates issued electronically by doctors via the Government’s eHealth System or the Hospital Authority’s computer system for entry. Certificates without an encrypted QR code will not be accepted.
