Mumbai, Nov 16: India’s leading Pharma Company in the oral healthcare segment – ICPA Health Products Ltd (ICPA) officially launched its latest product – Heximetro at the annual conference of the Indian Society of Periodontology (ISP). The three-day event from 11th to 13th November, 2022 was hosted by ISP in Bhubaneswar and saw a massive participation of periodontists from across the country. ICPA’s Heximetro was introduced to periodontists who lauded the offering as a comprehensive approach in the periodontal (gums) and peri-implant disease care. The antiseptic gel is a combination of three molecules, Chlorhexidine, Metronidazole and Lignocane; which act synergistically to offer the most effective care against periodontal and peri-implant diseases involving aerobic and anaerobic pathogens. The combination can also be of great help in the effective management of oral ulcers.

Periodontists are dentists specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal and peri-implant diseases. A prescription based product, Heximetro will be available at local chemists and pharmacies across the country.

Heximetro contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate 1% w/w, Metronidazole 1% w/w and Lignocaine 2% w/w. The formulation will not only reduce the microbial counts but also provide instant pain relief in case of painful mouth ulcers.
