JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) to host a first of a kind world-class training programme on forensic evidence

Friday, August 5, 2022: The Department of Forensic of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Bengaluru, in association with Kwick Soft Solutions Pvt Ltd, is organising a 2-day workshop on August 6 and 7, 2022. The Honorable Justice Krishna S Dixit, sitting judge of Karnataka High Court, the ‘Centre of Excellence for Training in Evidence Management from Crime Scene to Court. will be inaugurating it.’ The workshop is for students and professionals from the forensic science and criminal justice department.

The two-day workshop is a crash course to help students and professionals in their careers. The workshop’s main objective is to offer hands-on training in advanced forensic devices such as FARO 3 D Scanner, Forenscope, etc. and scientific kits in the field. The session will ensure that the trainees are well-equipped with modern techniques in order to elevate the present way of investigations.

The participants will be able to apply the knowledge from the workshop in law enforcement, crash investigation and fire service. The sessions will also help individuals specialise in evidence identification and digitisation from crime scenes using unique devices and techniques as per the IT Act 2000.

The two-day workshop will commence at 9:30 am on August 6 and end at 4:30 pm on August 7. The professionals are required to make a payment of INR 6000 to register. The venue of the event is the School of Sciences, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).
