Bangalore: Mindspace Business Parks REIT (BSE: 543217 | NSE: MINDSPACE) (‘Mindspace REIT’), owner and developer of quality Grade A office portfolio located in four key office markets of India, has built an all-new educational facility for the children from the quaint little village of Gambhiraopet, in Sircilla district of Telangana. The school is a first in the village, replete with amenities benchmarked to international standards. With ‘education’ as a powerful lever in Mindspace REIT’s ESG initiatives; and backed with a clear purpose to ‘build sustainable ecosystems’, the entity extends its expertise in construction, to benefit the community and future generations.
Through this initiative, Mindspace REIT’s endeavour has been to provide a top-notch education facility, that is invested in not just teaching kids to count, but more importantly what counts.
The development has been undertaken in collaboration with the Government of Telangana State and executed under the aegis of K Raheja Foundation. The all-new school has classrooms spread over 10,000+ sq. ft., and a library and training centers, spread over 10,000+ sq. ft.
With this, Mindspace REIT joins the State Government’s efforts and larger commitment of providing quality education to rural parts of India, with the aptly titled program of ‘Mana Ooru Mana Badi’ – ‘Our Village – Our School’.

We are glad to have a school with infrastructure on par with international standards, at Gambhiraopet.”
In the school corridor were a trio of 7-year-olds, Asha, Harini and Aruna, giggling. On being asked about their new school they excitedly chimed, “We are eager now to come to the new school. It is very exciting for us as we enjoy learning new subjects. The benches, the classrooms, the washrooms, are all so good and clean. But our favourite is the library, where we read such a wide variety of books and stories. We are excited to study, more than ever before.”
As part of its ESG initiatives, Mindspace REIT has also recently built a Skywalk in Mindspace Madhapur, Hyderabad, to reduce carbon emissions from last mile transport, and ease commute for people traveling to and from Raidurg Metro Station.
