MIT-World Peace University Pune Opens Admissions for Integrated B-Tech Programmes for the Academic Year 2023-24

June 7, 2023, India: MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU), Pune has announced the opening of admissions for Integrated B-Tech programmes for the academic year 2023-24. Interested candidates who meet the educational qualification criteria can apply online at admissions.mitwpu.edu.in by 09/June/2023.

After completing their 10th standard exams, students can choose from a range of 6-year specialisations like Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science), Civil Engineering (Smart Infrastructure & Construction), Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Robotics and Automation), and Electronic & Communication Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning).

At MIT-WPU Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET), students enrolled in any B.Tech programme (excluding Computer Science & Engineering) have the incredible opportunity to pursue a minor in Computer Science and Engineering. Furthermore, all FoET students can opt for additional credits by engaging in Linux-based Python Laboratory, Basic IoT Laboratory, Data Science for Engineers, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML). They are also trained in cutting-edge technologies and tools like iOS Training using Swift, Kotlin-based mobile application development, full-stack development, internet technologies, internet of things, data science, and cyber security. This distinctive offering bridges the gap between industry and academia, empowering students to cultivate a competitive advantage.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for any of the 6 Integrated B.Tech programmes, the candidates must have a minimum aggregate score of 60% in 10th grade, including compulsory subjects of Science and Mathematics. Backward class category candidates belonging to Maharashtra must have at least a 55% aggregate score.

Selection Process:

The Integrated B.Tech program’s selection process involves two steps. Firstly, candidates are required to appear for the MIT-WPU CET Entrance Exam 2023, which is an online proctored examination. Secondly, candidates are evaluated based on their Personal Interaction (PI) score as per the schedule.

Additionally, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology offers a direct admission option to the second year (lateral entry) for all Integrated B.Tech programmes.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for admission, candidates belonging to Maharashtra must have passed the 10th standard or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate score of 60%, with English, Science, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects for the Open category and 55% marks for candidates belonging to the backward class categories. In addition, candidates must have passed the 12th grade (Science) with a minimum of three subjects from Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship.

Alternatively, candidates who have passed the 10th grade and a 2-year ITI trade program or a 2-year HSC Vocational MCVC Course/HSC Technical (Bifocal) course are also eligible for admission.

Selection Process:

The selection is based on the candidate’s scores in their 12th grade, ITI Trade, 2-year HSC Vocational MCVC Course, HSC Technical (Bifocal) course, and English scores of Class 10th.
