31 January 2024: Physics Wallah (PW), India’s Leading Edtech company is proud to announce its partnership with the Department of Minority Welfare of the Karnataka Government. This partnership aims to empower 4300 science stream students in 11th and 12th grades with high-quality education and competitive exam preparation for JEE, NEET, and K-CET.
Online Classes will be conducted in 84 schools across Karnataka where a notable feature of the program is the integration of smart classrooms and customised batches, supported by government teachers for doubt-solving and in-class assistance. Additionally, 8 residential offline centres will have Physics Wallah teachers, providing dedicated training sessions to students from Mysore, Gulbarga, Belgaum, Koppal, Raichur & Dharwad.
This initiative aligns with the Karnataka Government’s commitment to provide two-year intensive training for students in pre-university residential colleges for minorities, focusing on key entrance examinations such as NEET, JEE, and K-CET.
Physics Wallah’s role in this partnership involves providing comprehensive training across various centres. The schedule includes a mix of online and offline training sessions, ensuring accessibility and quality education for all students.
The program, inaugurated online by the honourable B.J.Z. Jameer Ahmed Khan, Minister for Housing, Minority Welfare, and Wakf Department, marks a significant step towards educational equity. The event was graced by key officials including Shri Manoj Jain I.A.S., Secretary of the Department, Director Shri Jilani H. Mokashi, Joint Directors Shri Mahmood, Assistant Directors Shri Mashakasab Melinamani and Assistant Director Dr Shiva Kumar C.R., as well as district officers, principals, lecturers, students of all districts under the Department of Minority Welfare and Shri Alakh Pandey, CEO and founder of Physics Wallah, who interacted with the students, highlighting the potential impact of this initiative.
