Sikkim’s CM addresses individual concerns of 3000 people of constituency in two days

New Delhi, Jan 15: Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang concluded his two-day Jan Bhet Karyakram for Upper Burtuk constituency on Sunday at Helipad under Gangtok district.

Jan Bhet Karyakram is an effort to take governance at the doorstep of the people of every constituency of the state. This initiative is delivery mechanism where instead of people visiting the office, the office visits the public.

The Chief Minister met around 3000 beneficiaries from Upper Burtuk, Upper Sichey and Lower Sichey.

In the programme, the Chief Minister engaged with the public, addressing concerns about medical issues, scholarships, housing upgradations, job employment, entrepreneurship loans and more.

The Chief Minister attentively listened to beneficiaries and offered assistance as per their needs.

The response of the public was overwhelming wherein they were satisfied and grateful having the opportunity to meet the Chief Minister who not only addressed their grievances but also resolved it as per the norms.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by a team consisting of Speaker SLA, Cabinet Minister for Transport and Power, Zilla Adakshya, Mayor, officers and HODs of various state government departments.
