TEAM MERAKI WINS ‘REFEX GHEUN TAK’ – A WOMEN’S ULTIMATE FRISBEE TOURNAMENT!

Mumbai, 31st January 2023: Team Meraki emerged as the winners over Swarm, in the recently concluded all women’s Frisbee Tournament -‘Refex Gheun Tak’, organized by the Off-Season Ultimate with full support from Refex Group. Spanning over two days – January 28 & 29, 2023, the Frisbee Tournament witnessed 95 athletes participating.

The tournament witnessed participation across many parts of Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Auroville, Surat, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad and some towns in Maharashtra. Team Eclipse’ captain Sneha Patil won the award for Most Number of Assists and players Pooja Raghu from Eclipse and Megha Rawat from Meraki won the award for Most Goals. The Most Spirited player award was bagged by the captain of Ravens, Rhea Anthony from and Team Eclipse was named as the most Spirited Team.

Speaking about the tournament, Mr Anil Jain, Managing Director, Refex Industries Limited said, “Ultimate Frisbee is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and it has been recognized by the International Olympic Centre, as well.
