Yokohama India caps off a brilliant INRC 2022 season

● All three Yokohama backed rally drivers nabbed podium positions across categories

● The fourth round of INRC concluded in Nagaland on 14th Jan after three rounds in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Bangalore

New Delhi, 18 January 2023: With the culmination of the final round of the INRC rally in Kohima, Nagaland, Yokohama India capped off a wonderful season in 2022. The challenge presented by the Rally of Nagaland was faced by Yokohama-backed drivers with unflappable tenacity. Veteran driver Chetan Shivram clinched the first position and graced the winner’s circle in the INRC 2 category while being adjudged the second-best overall in the showdown at Kohima. Arnav Pratap Singh topped the podium in the JINRC category and stood second in the INRC 3 category in the Rally of Nagaland. Nikeetaa Takkale emerged third in the JINRC category at the Nagaland rally.

In the overall results, Arnav Pratap Singh bagged the second position in the JINRC and INRC 3 categories. Multiple-time Gypsy championship winner Samrat Yadav dominated the category yet again to be accorded the winner’s medal. All four champions were powered by Yokohama’s high profile Advan Gravel Rally Tyres fitted in their rally vehicles.

The INRC is the premier rally tour, organized formally by the The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI). INRC follows the Stage Rally format: (8-10 special stages SS, and one super special stage – SSS). The ‘Rally of Nagaland’, was the fourth and final round of the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC), and it was officially flagged off by advisor to the department of Youth Resources & Sports, Zale Neikha, at the Hockey Ground at Indira Gandhi (IG) Stadium in Kohima to put curtains on a very eventful season in 2022. Yokohama India has actively backed many talented drivers by providing them with an advantage of unmatched handling through its top-tier tyres in the INRC rallies and will continue to do so in 2023.
