Tirupati, 29th April 2025: Mohan Babu University’s Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML), in collaboration with The Coding Club, hosted XHorizon – Where Innovation Meets Infinity, a 24-hour open-source hackathon that brought together over 600 passionate student innovators under one roof. The Coding Club, a student-led initiative at MBU, works to foster a culture of problem-solving, collaboration, and exploration of emerging technologies across disciplines.
XHorizon was supported by industry leaders including HackWithIndia, IEEE CIS, and the AWS Cloud Club. The event served as a platform for students to tackle real-world problems through technology, with domains spanning Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Web Development, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, and Big Data Analytics.
Participants showcased not just technical skills, but also their ability to design solutions with real societal impact. Several of the projects aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, addressing challenges ranging from environmental sustainability to digital accessibility. The event also included mentorship and technical guidance from experts in the field, creating an atmosphere of intense creativity and learning.
Winners were awarded prizes worth over ₹1.3 lakhs, including ₹30,000 in cash rewards, global certification, and coveted internship opportunities with reputed technology firms.
