Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh, hosted the TEDxYouth@MPSShalimarBagh event, themed “Passion to Purpose.” This gathering brought together a diverse group of speakers who shared their transformative journeys, aiming to inspire students to channel their passions into purposeful endeavours.
The event commenced with an invocation dance, followed by a welcome address from Principal Dr. Alka Kapur. The TEDx sessions at Modern Public School featured a distinguished lineup of changemakers who left an indelible mark on the young audience. Among them were acclaimed actor Mr. Amit Sial, humanitarian and Padma Shri Awardee Dr. Jitender Singh Shunty, Squadron Leader and ADC (Military) to the Governor of Punjab Mr. Gaurav Malik, and celebrated singer Mr. Jasbir Jassi .Their powerful narratives underscored the importance of persistence, innovation, and empathy in the journey toward success.
The event also welcomed eminent personalities including Ambassador Deepak Vohra, celebrity saree draper Ms. Dolly Jain, beauty and wellness icon Dr. Blossom Kochhar, IRS officer Ms. Ummul Kher, and renowned journalist Ms. Huma Siddiqui. Each speaker shared compelling personal stories of resilience, passion, and purpose, inspiring students to dream big and pursue their aspirations with courage and conviction.
Together, these trailblazers lit a spark within the students, encouraging them to transform their passions into purposeful action and believe in the power of their dreams.
