S8UL announces entry into EAFC with the signing of Jonas Wirth and Aaron Rivera

Germany’s eChampions League winner Jonny and Mexico’s star Happy are set to represent S8UL at the Esports World Cup 2025 and other major EAFC tournaments worldwide

Mumbai, May 13, 2025: S8UL Esports, a global powerhouse in the esports and gaming content space has officially entered the competitive EAFC scene, marking a significant step in its international expansion. With a lineup led by two of the most exciting young talents in the global circuit, Jonas ‘Jonny’ Wirth and Aaron ‘Happy’ Rivera, the organization will be competing at the upcoming Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 in Riyadh and other major international tournaments.

As one of Germany’s top EAFC competitors, Jonny joins the S8UL roster after a landmark season. The athlete boasts an impressive track record, including a stellar victory at the eChampions League 2024, where he secured $75,000 (approx. INR 63.5 lakh). He qualified for the tournament by emerging victorious in the Virtual Bundesliga 2023/24 Finals, earning $42,666 (approx. INR 36.1 lakh). Jonny also finished in the top 16 at the FIFAe World Cup 2023 and the FC Pro 24 World Championship, with total career earnings of approximately $196,150 (approx. INR 1.6 crore). Having played for top-tier teams like SC Paderborn 07, Fnatic, and VfL Bochum 1848, Jonny is renowned for his composed gameplay and clinical execution.

With career earnings exceeding $50,000 (approx. INR 42.3 lakh), Happy is known for his tactical precision and clutch performances. His gameplay has delivered unforgettable moments, including a dramatic last-minute winner in the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier to seal a 5-4 victory. After representing notable teams such as Essentials Gaming, AJM Esports, and CD Leganés, Happy is now ready to showcase his skills on the world’s biggest esports stage with S8UL.

With this announcement, S8UL has now unveiled rosters across five different titles for the Esports World Cup 2025. The lineups are as follows:

Apex Legends: Rick Wirth (Sharky), Benjamin Spaseski (Jesko) and Tom Canty (Legacy)

Call of Duty: Warzone: Colin Bowers-Wilson (Trikempathy), Braxton Trice (Braxtvn), and Ryder Skarzinski (Ryda)

Chess: Nihal Sarin and Aravindh Chithambaram

EA SPORTS FC: Jonas Wirth (Jonny) and Aaron Rivera (Happy)

Starcraft II: Pyung Jae Koh (GuMiho)
