This is a strategic collaboration to co-create the GCC Workplace Playbook 2025 and empower future-ready leadership across Global Capability Centers.
26th May 2025, New Delhi: The GCC Workplace Awards 2025 partners with Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) as its Executive Education Partner, marking a significant collaboration aimed at redefining the future of Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India and globally.
Renowned for its leadership in executive education and thought leadership, IIM Bangalore brings deep academic expertise and strategic insight to the awards platform. As part of this partnership, IIM-B will play a key role in co-creating the “GCC Workplace Playbook 2025”, a forward-looking guide capturing evolving workplace practices, leadership imperatives, talent transformation trends, and resilience frameworks shaping the next wave of GCCs.
At the core of this collaboration is IIM Bangalore’s flagship Executive Education Program, “Leadership Development Program to Build Resilient GCCs”. Tailored for mid-to-senior level leaders, the program is designed to equip them with future-ready capabilities to lead transformation, drive innovation, and navigate volatility with strategic agility. The curriculum integrates critical themes such as digital leadership, change management, global best practices, and strategic foresight to strengthen leadership within GCCs.
“Today’s GCC leaders are not just operational heads – they are global strategists, innovation stewards and change champions,” said Prof. Srivardhini K Jha, Programme Director and Chairperson of NSRCEL at IIM-B. “This programme is designed to help them rise to the challenges with clarity, agility and purpose.”
Talking about the significance of the partnership, Anuj Agrawal, Founder & CEO of Zyoin Group & Workplace Awards said, “GCCs in India are no longer just cost centers, they’ve emerged as global innovation hubs and strategic growth engines. Having IIM Bangalore, one of Asia’s most prestigious institutions, as our Executive Education Partner adds immense credibility and intellectual capital to this initiative. Talent transformation is at the heart of GCC evolution. As hiring partners to some of the largest GCCs in India, we see first-hand the growing demand for agile, innovation-driven leadership. The collaboration between IIM Bangalore and GCC Workplace Awards brings together academic excellence and real-world needs, a much-needed step to build the future-ready leadership pipeline for GCCs. As the operating models of GCCs shift towards driving enterprise-wide digital transformation and R&D, the need for continuously upskilled, cross-functional, and globally-minded leaders has never been more critical.”
The GCC Workplace Playbook 2025, to be unveiled at the awards ceremony, will feature insights and frameworks co-developed by IIM Bangalore faculty and leading industry voices. The playbook will serve as a practical and actionable guide for GCC leaders navigating themes like finance, legal compliance, HR & Talent, leadership, government regulations, real estate, etc.
With this partnership, the GCC Workplace Awards 2025 aims not only to celebrate workplace excellence but also to inspire sustained innovation and transformation across the GCC ecosystem.
