TiE Delhi-NCR to Host the 1st Edition of Student Entrepreneurship Summit 2025

Empowering India’s Future Founders Through Real-World Learning, Innovation Challenges, and Startup Showcases

New Delhi, June 13, 2025 – TiE Delhi-NCR, at the forefront of India’s startup ecosystem and a proud flagship chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), is proud to announce the first-ever Student Entrepreneurship Summit 2025, scheduled to take place on June 20th, 2025 at Amity University, Noida. The summit promises to be a vibrant and high-energy platform that brings together more than 400 bright young minds — including high school and college students from over 50 top institutions across the country — for a day filled with real-world learning, entrepreneurial inspiration, and future-building.

The event is set to serve as a launchpad for the next generation of founders, creators, and problem-solvers. Through keynote speeches, engaging panel discussions, startup showcases, hands-on masterclasses, and awards, the summit will offer a rich blend of inspiration and action. It is designed to give students an insider’s view into the startup world, moving them beyond textbooks and into the heart of innovation. Speaking about the summit, Geetika Dayal, Executive Director, TiE Delhi-NCR, said: “With student entrepreneurship gaining national momentum, we believe this summit will serve as a launchpad for India’s future leaders. A major highlight of the day will be a fireside chat featuring Nehal Wadhera, Cricketer & rising star from Punjab Kings, this conversation promises to be an inspiring dialogue on ambition, resilience, and breaking boundaries. Some of the key speakers at the event include R Satya Narayanan, Founder & Chairman of CareerLauncher &  Deepak Gupta Co-founder & COO of Bombay Shaving Company, alongside Anoushka Jolly, founder of the Kavach App.

Throughout the day, students will have the unique opportunity to engage with startup founders, venture capitalists, educators, corporate professionals, and policy influencers. This will enable them to absorb not just entrepreneurial knowledge, but also the mindset required to build, sustain, and scale impactful ventures in today’s fast-paced economy. Sessions will explore trending themes like Branding, Art of Pitching, Leveraging New Age Media & more. These conversations aim to offer both inspiration and actionable takeaways.

The summit arrives at a time when young Indians are increasingly looking beyond conventional career paths to build impactful ventures, solve social challenges, and harness innovation. The summit is designed to help students think critically, communicate effectively, and lead with purpose. It also offers a space for authentic connection — where students can interact with mentors, investors, startup professionals, and fellow innovators, gaining first-hand insights into the entrepreneurial world.In line with its mission to build and support young changemakers, TiE Delhi-NCR is also proud to spotlight its flagship youth initiative — TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE). TYE is a globally acclaimed program specially designed for high school students from grades 9 to 12. It offers a hands-on curriculum where students get the chance to dive deep into business fundamentals, team collaboration, and startup execution. Over five energizing Sundays, participants work on real business ideas, develop and present business plans, and receive feedback from expert mentors and entrepreneurs.

TYE goes beyond the classroom, providing a platform where students not only learn how to build a company, but also get to compete regionally and globally. Winning teams from each region get a chance to represent their chapter at the TYE Global Competition, where they compete for $10,000 in prizes and recognition. Along the way, students earn participation certificates, gain exposure to India’s top entrepreneurial minds, and even unlock internship opportunities with real-world startups. The program offers an unmatched combination of education, mentorship, and competition, helping students build lasting skills in leadership, communication, and innovation.

The summit will also feature some of India’s most exciting student-led ventures in a live startup showcase by Arsh Choudhary, (Grade 12, Jayshree Periwal International School, Jaipur) and founder of Naayika along with Prasan Batra (Grade 12 Vasant Valley School, Delhi) and founder of InterNet & Kinetic Kick . Selected teams will present their businesses and ideas in front of an audience of peers, mentors, and investors. These pitches will be met with real-time feedback, encouraging students to refine their thinking and build confidence in presenting innovative solutions. Public speaking, storytelling, and investor pitching will be core elements of the experience, making the summit not just informative, but deeply transformative for every participant.
