New Delhi, July 16: Continuing the government’s commitment to inclusive development and social welfare, Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang distributed cheques under the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Grant (CMDG) and the Chief Minister’s Education Assistance Scheme (CMEAS) at a special programme held at Samman Bhawan today.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister reiterated the government’s dedication to supporting underprivileged students, individuals, and organizations in their respective pursuits. “Our government remains firmly committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder access to education or progress,” he stated.
During the programme, financial assistance was extended to a wide range of beneficiaries, including educational institutions, social organizations, economically disadvantaged individuals, and deserving students.
These grants, part of the government’s broader effort to foster equity and empowerment, aim to create meaningful opportunities and improve the quality of life for the underprivileged across the state.
