New Delhi, November 7, 2025: In a landmark initiative to boost India’s industrial and entrepreneurial ecosystem, Vedanta Limited has announced the establishment of not-for-profit Aluminium and Zinc Industrial Parks in Odisha and Rajasthan, respectively.
The announcement was made by Mr. Anil Agarwal, Chairman – Vedanta Group, who shared that the parks will act as vibrant hubs for innovation, entrepreneurship, and industrial excellence, aimed at catalysing India’s growth in metals, manufacturing, and advanced technologies.
“These parks will provide a world-class ecosystem — developed land, robust infrastructure, reliable utilities, and assured raw material supply — ensuring the perfect environment for startups and MSMEs to thrive,” said Mr. Agarwal. “Our purpose is to nurture entrepreneurship, foster innovation, and create thousands of sustainable jobs that contribute to a self-reliant India.”
The Aluminium Park in Odisha alone offers the potential to develop over 90 different downstream industries and products, while the Zinc Industrial Park in Rajasthan will drive value-added manufacturing and encourage collaboration among emerging businesses.
Vedanta has invited young entrepreneurs, startups, and MSMEs to participate, with investment opportunities ranging from ₹2 crore to ₹50 crore and beyond. These parks are envisioned to transform regional economies, generate employment, and strengthen the country’s position as a global hub for metals and allied industries.
