National, 28 November 2025: ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), a globally recognised professional accountancy body, has announced the winners of its flagship national case study competition ACCA Case Masters 2025 competition – Redefining the Accountant. This national-level business case study challenge brought together some of India’s most promising undergraduate B.Com and BBA students, demonstrating the rising calibre of future finance professionals across the country.

Open to students from universities and colleges nationwide, the competition aims to provide a unique platform to demonstrate financial acumen, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills in real-world business scenarios. Through this initiative, ACCA aims to bridge the gap between academia and business, offering students an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and into the world of professional accountancy.

The 2025 edition received an exceptional response with 244 team registrations, of which 168 teams completed their submissions. After a rigorous evaluation process, 35 teams advanced to Round 2, the strongest teams competed in the final presentation round and winners were announced on 27 November 2025. Their work reflected deep analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and the ability to apply accounting and finance principles to real-world business challenges.

This year’s finalists presented solutions to a case based on VoltTech Motors (VTM), an electric vehicle manufacturer in Corlandia. The case explored themes such as governance, internal control weaknesses, strategic partnerships, sustainability reporting, and the adoption of AI across support functions. Students were assessed on analytical depth, clarity of communication, problem-solving skills, and their ability to translate technical insights into practical recommendations.

At the felicitation ceremony, ACCA announced the three winning teams whose performances stood out for their clarity, rigour and business insight. The first prize was awarded to The Strategic Syndicates from Poornima University, Jaipur, whose compelling, well-structured presentation, sharp research and confident responses impressed the judging panel.
