Nagpur Winter Session: Minister Shambhuraj Desai Lauded for Effective ‘Floor Management, Ensures Smooth and Successful House Proceedings

Mumbai, December 18: The Winter Session of the State Legislature in Nagpur has recently concluded. Throughout the session, the ‘floor management’ carried out by Tourism and Excise Minister Shambhuraj Desai emerged as a subject of special discussion. With meticulous planning of the proceedings of the House and by giving precise responses to every aggressive stance taken by the opposition, Desai effectively and confidently upheld the government’s position.

During this session, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde entrusted Shambhuraj Desai with the additional responsibility of the Housing Department. Along with this responsibility, he successfully performed a multifaceted role by maintaining coordination in the proceedings of the House. He was also assigned the responsibility of managing the functioning of the Shiv Sena Legislative Party, through which his role proved decisive in maintaining discipline and unity among the ruling party legislators.

During the session, the opposition had devised several strategies to corner the government; however, Shambhuraj Desai, drawing on his vast experience, successfully countered all these challenges. Whether it was managing the disorder that arose during the proceedings of the House, steering discussions on important Bills in the right direction, or ensuring proper coordination among the ruling party legislators, he left a strong and visible imprint on all these fronts.
