Ex-YoloBus CEO Launches Sikhar Fleet to Professionalise India’s EV Ride-Hailing Ecosystem

After Delhi-NCR, the company plans to expand its operations to other major cities in the near future

15th January 2026: Sikhar Fleet has entered India’s electric mobility market with the launch of its operations in Delhi-NCR. With a growing fleet footprint and deep operational focus, ex-YoloBus CEO Sanjay Jadoun’s Sikhar Fleet is designed to address some of the most pressing challenges facing urban mobility in India today.

Indian cities are grappling with rising air pollution, deteriorating ride quality, and unreliable mobility services. Customers often face unhygienic vehicles, noisy and poorly maintained cars, unprofessional driving behaviour, and high cancellation rates. At the same time, drivers and mobility platforms struggle with delayed or uncertain earnings, low vehicle uptime, weak fleet discipline, and unsustainable unit economics. Sikhar Fleet aims to bridge these gaps by making electric mobility clean for cities, fair for drivers, and reliable for customers.

Founded in late 2025, Sikhar Fleet operates on a B2B EV Fleet-as-a-Service model, delivering fully managed electric fleets to ride-hailing platforms, enterprises, and logistics players. The company’s end-to-end offering includes trained and disciplined drivers, clean and well-maintained electric vehicles, daily earning visibility with faster payouts, charging and energy partnerships, and continuous fleet uptime and performance management. Backed by deep expertise in large-scale mobility operations, the company consistently maintains over 95% vehicle uptime, ensuring vehicles remain on the road and driver earnings remain stable. With more than 90% of its fleet already unit-economically profitable, Sikhar Fleet is built for sustainable growth and long-term service excellence at scale.  This integrated approach allows partners to concentrate on demand generation, while Sikhar Fleet takes full ownership of supply quality, operational reliability, and customer experience.

Sanjay Jadoun, Co-Founder, Sikhar Fleet, said, “Indian cities are facing rising air pollution, drivers are struggling within fragmented and unpredictable earning models, and customers are increasingly dissatisfied with unhygienic vehicles and unreliable cab services. Sikhar Fleet was built to demonstrate that electric mobility, when backed by disciplined operations and professional fleet management, can be genuinely clean for the environment, fair and financially secure for drivers, reliable for customers, and economically sustainable for the broader mobility ecosystem”.

As part of its early traction, Sikhar Fleet is an official EV fleet partner of Rapido. The partnership is currently active in Delhi-NCR and is expanding to new cities to replace polluting vehicles with electric alternatives, improve customer experience through better fleet quality, and create more stable and predictable earnings for drivers.

Dharam Jadoun, Co-Founder, Sikhar Fleet, said, “At the heart of Sikhar Fleet is a deep respect for the people who keep urban mobility moving- our drivers. When they are paid on time, treated with dignity, and supported with clean, well-maintained electric vehicles, they can focus on delivering a safe, reliable, and high-quality experience to customers. Fair and transparent earnings, disciplined operations, and dependable vehicles not only improve driver livelihoods but also raise service standards across the ecosystem. This driver-first approach is fundamental to building a clean, reliable, and truly scalable electric mobility network for India”.

Presently, Sikhar Fleet operates over 50 electric vehicles and has signed MOUs for more than 200 additional vehicles. Over the next 12 months, the company plans to scale its operations to over 1,000 electric vehicles across multiple cities, focusing on high-usage urban mobility segments where EV fleets can deliver the greatest environmental and economic impact. These include ride-hailing, corporate mobility, urban and last-mile logistics, and first-mile and last-mile transport.

With expansion underway into major cities, Sikhar Fleet is onboarding more drivers, strengthening charging and energy partnerships, and accelerating EV deployment across cities.
