MaxVolt Energy Announces Launch of Advanced L3 Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) Battery Solution for Electric Mobility

MaxVolt Energy Industries Ltd, a leading manufacturer of lithium battery packs, has announced the upcoming launch of its advanced L3 Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) battery solution, specifically designed for electric mobility applications. This launch signifies the company’s mission to accelerate India’s transition to sustainable mobility.

This new L3 battery pack is a 51.2V-105Ah Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) system developed by using Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) cell chemistry. This battery can perform consistently with high safety standards and a longer lifecycle within a demanding environment. MaxVolt focuses on durability and efficiency to meet the requirements within the transforming electric mobility industry.

The L3 battery is designed as a Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) that integrates an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) to monitor important parameters such as voltage, temperature and current. The battery ensures optimal performance by showcasing features, like cell balancing, smart charging and discharging control. It also has multiple layers of protection against overcharge, over-discharge, short circuits, and thermal fluctuations.

After successfully passing all critical testing parameters, the L3 battery systems have undergone validation processes in accordance with automotive safety standards, including AIS-156 compliance. It has a strong mechanical enclosure and optimised thermal management, which are highly suitable for Indian road and weather conditions.

Adorned with features such as high continuous discharge capability, integrated communication interfaces (CAN/RS485), and IoT-based data logging for diagnostics, the L3 batteries smoothly integrate with electric vehicles and efficiently monitor battery health. It also includes smart functionalities like sleep mode for reduced standby consumption and real-time monitoring, all of which are essential for overall energy efficiency and usability.

The L3 battery serves a wide range of applications, including electric three-wheelers, cargo vehicles, and other light electric mobility platforms. It is designed to be suitable for commercial usage by offering an extended driving range, lower running costs and reduced maintenance requirements.

Speaking on the launch, Mukesh Gupta, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), MaxVolt Energy Industries Pvt Ltd, said, “The introduction of our L3 battery solution represents a significant milestone in MaxVolt’s growth journey.
