From Early Mornings to AI Mastery: A Working Mom’s Relentless Pursuit of Growth

Ruchika Johal lives in Australia and balances multiple responsibilities each day. She is a mother of two, works full time, and is currently enrolled in a Future Ready Product Management program with a focus on Applied AI. Because of time zone differences, she relies on recorded lectures and studies early in the morning before her day begins. That quiet time has become her learning window.

Alongside the program, she has completed the AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS AI Practitioner, and AWS Solutions Architect certifications. These certifications reflect a clear and structured approach to building her knowledge in cloud and artificial intelligence. Instead of learning casually or intermittently, she has committed to a defined pathway that strengthens both her technical understanding and her product management perspective.

Her journey is rooted in consistency. Managing work, family, and studies requires planning and discipline, and she has chosen to grow without stepping away from her responsibilities. She is currently applying these skills within her own startups, NouxAI and NouxCare. Utilizing these skills has also significantly helped her increase her overall understanding of the field.

For Ruchika, this effort is not only about career progression. It is also about examples. She said, “I did not want to choose between being present for my children and building the career I aspire to have. I am showing them how to dream big and invest in themselves consistently.”
