New Direction in Human Resources with Data and AI

Experts at Graphic Era discussed human resource analytics, AI-based data-driven decision making, and smart decisions.

Today, a conference on human resource analytics and AI was organised at Graphic Era Deemed University. In the inaugural ceremony of the conference, the chief guest, IIT Roorkee Professor Dr Santosh Ragnekar, said that skills like AI and human resource analytics will be important for future careers. He said that correct decisions can be made by understanding data. AI does not eliminate jobs but creates new opportunities.

Pro VC Dr Santosh S. Sarraf said that AI and analytics are necessary in human resources to ensure accuracy—for example, salaries are credited on time on the 7th, and there are no errors in calculations or analyses for any reason.

In this three-day conference, various technical sessions will be organised. During this, topics such as human resource analytics, data-driven decision-making, employee retention (attrition) analysis, predictive and prescriptive analytics, and AI-based workforce management will be discussed in detail.

The conference was organised by the Department of Management Studies of Graphic Era Deemed University. Head of the Department of Management Studies, Dr Ajay Pandey, Dr Girish Lakhera, Dr Deepa Verma, Dr Khyati Kapil, Dr Ratnankar Mishra, other teachers, and students were present at the conference.
