University of Wollongong India announces Women Leaders in FinTech, Data Analytics & AI Scholarship

Scholarship offers 50% off tuition fees for the entire course duration, starting in July 2026

May 15, 2026: The University of Wollongong India has opened applications for the Women Leaders in Fintech, Data Analytics & AI Scholarship, offering 50% fee reduction for deserving candidates enrolling in full-time Master’s program at its India campus from July 2026.

The scholarship is aimed at supporting high-achieving students by easing tuition costs and enabling access to global education, while helping graduates build globally relevant skills and international exposure in an increasingly interconnected job market. This initiative reflects a commitment to encouraging academic excellence and easing financial challenges faced by students.

One scholarship per specialisation (FinTech, Data Analytics, and AI) will be available for the July 2026 intake and awarded to the top three students. UOW India will select the top eligible enrolled student from FinTech (including FinTech Extension), Data Analytics, and Applied Artificial Intelligence program for each intake.

The scholarships will be awarded based on merit and other defined criteria, with eligible students able to benefit from partial tuition fee waivers. The initiative aligns with the University’s broader mission of nurturing globally competent graduates and contributing to India’s evolving higher education landscape.

There is no separate application required for this scholarship.

The application deadline is 31st July.

No. Of Awards: This scholarship will be awarded to the top 3 eligible students who have offers for the 2026/27 academic year, commencing in July 2026 at UOW India.

Enrolment status: Enrolled at census for the commencing session and fees for the first trimester of study fully paid by the last date to pay course tuition fees for the session.

Eligibility Criteria:

· Applicants must be enrolled in one of the following program: Master of Financial Technology (FinTech), Master of Financial Technology (FinTech) Extension, Master of Computing (Data Analytics), or Master of Computing (Applied Artificial Intelligence).

· Students must achieve an 85+ WAM or equivalent in each trimester of their UOW India degree enrolment.
