Indian rapper and singer Santy Sharma has sparked fresh online debate after sharing a strong statement on social media regarding the rapidly growing “Cockroach Janta Party” (CJP) trend that has taken over Instagram and political discussions across India.
The rapper expressed concern over what he described as “blind trend-following” among internet users and questioned the intentions behind the viral movement. Santy Sharma’s statement comes at a time when the satirical online collective CJP has become one of the most discussed topics in the country, crossing millions of followers on social media within days.

Some users believe the movement reflects real anger over unemployment and governance issues, while others claim it is driven by online propaganda, bot amplification, and anti-establishment narratives.
