Adani Foundation at ACC Sindri Empowers Youth Through ASDC

Chandigarh, 13 July 2026: ACC, the cement and building materials company of the diversified Adani Portfolio, along with the Adani Foundation, is helping local youth to build sustainable careers through its Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC) at its Sindri plant.

Coming from a poor family in Bihar, Ayush Kumar aspired to support his family but struggled to find stable employment despite completing his education.

After moving to Sindri in search of opportunities, he enrolled in the Assistant Electrician course at ASDC, where he received practical and technical training, workplace safety education and professional skill development.

On successfully completing the programme, Ayush secured employment through Quess Corp and is now working at Tata Motors, Sanand, earning Rs. 17,000 per month.

His journey reflects how industry-relevant skill development can create meaningful employment opportunities and improve the livelihoods of young people and their families.
