Pradhan’s resignation: Kulip Maity says PM Modi takes decisions in the best interests of students

New Delhi, July 25, 2026: Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership was once again praised for its work on the country’s education system and student welfare. Senior BJP leader Kulip Maity, in a statement regarding Pradhan’s resignation, said that the central government takes every decision with the future of students in mind.

Mr. Maiti said, “Unprecedented changes have taken place in the field of education during Prime Minister Modi’s tenure. The government has enacted strict laws to bring transparency to all competitive examinations, including NEET and JEE. The government’s objective is to ensure that no student is discriminated against and that selection is based solely on merit.”

He further stated, “The primary objective of all decisions being made today is in the interest of students and the nation. No matter how much politics the opposition may engage in, the truth is that the Modi government stands with the dreams of the youth. Pradhan’s resignation should also be viewed in the context of this transparency and accountability.”

Taking aim at the opposition, Kulip Maity said, “The opposition is not concerned about students. They only want to play politics. When they get a chance to discuss issues in Parliament, they run away and spread confusion on the streets. Whereas the government is ready to discuss student issues openly, both in the House and outside.”

He appealed to the students of the country not to be misled by anyone. _”Your future is in safe hands. The work the Modi government has done in the fields of education, skill development, and employment over the last 11 years is unprecedented. We are committed to ensuring that every youth in India receives quality education and better opportunities.”_

Finally, Kulip Maity said that the BJP government is committed to taking even greater decisions in the interest of students.
