Addressing members of the media, Santy Sharma said the press conference was organised to respond to several questions that had been raised on social media regarding his views on reservation, CJP, his music career, and other public issues.

One of the key topics discussed during the event was CJP. Responding to questions from the media, Sharma said that he supports students and believes their concerns deserve attention. However, he also stated that he does not support what he described as the politicisation of student movements. He further expressed criticism of the organization’s founders and alleged that some protests had included individuals who were not students and were involved in creating unrest. These remarks reflected Sharma’s views and were presented as his opinion during the press conference.

Sharma also denied allegations that he was associated with or funded by any political party. He said that he is not affiliated with the BJP, Congress, or any other political organization, adding that his campaign is independent and focused on issues he believes are important.

During the event, Sharma officially announced the launch of “Arakshan Hatao – August Kranti,” describing it as a public awareness campaign. According to him, the movement will expand through social media platforms, with a dedicated Instagram page. He said the campaign aims to bring attention to reservation-related issues and encourage public discussion.

Actor Puneet Vasishtha, who attended the press conference in support of the initiative, said he believes discussions should focus on merit and economic conditions. He stated that, in his opinion, assistance should be based on financial need while maintaining equal standards in competitive examinations. These remarks represented his personal views expressed during the event.

The press conference also touched on Sharma’s entertainment career. Responding to speculation about participating in reality television, including Bigg Boss, Sharma declined to comment, saying he preferred not to discuss future projects at this stage.

When asked about the deletion of his YouTube channel, Sharma said he believed it may have resulted from a large number of reports submitted against his account following his public statements. He added that YouTube had informed him that the channel could not be restored and that he plans to launch a new channel in the near future.

Addressing criticism of explicit language in his rap music, Sharma said that hip-hop is a form of artistic expression and noted that he classifies such content for adult audiences.

The event concluded with Sharma previewing lyrics from an upcoming song titled “August Kranti,” which he said would focus on issues affecting the general public, including reservation and other social concerns.

The “Arakshan Hatao – August Kranti” campaign is expected to continue primarily through social media, where Sharma says he plans to engage supporters and share updates on future activities.
