Actor Shailesh Ramugade celebrated this year’s Independence Day in a highly meaningful way. By attending the event with students at Nova English High School in Vasai, he added a strong sense of social responsibility to the occasion. Instead of merely taking part in the celebrations, he extended support for students’ education through an inspiring initiative.
During the Independence Day program, Shailesh interacted with students and participated in various patriotic activities organized by the school. On this occasion, Shailesh Ramugade distributed scholarships to 25 students of Nova English High School. In addition, last year Shailesh had provided strong educational support by awarding 78 scholarships to students at Ayushman Foundation, Airoli (NGO) school. These consistent efforts highlight the growing scope of his social work and commitment to education.
This year, he further expanded his initiative by announcing 25 scholarships for students who have passed 10th grade, along with scholarship support for 11th and 12th-grade students, ensuring greater assistance for those pursuing higher education.
During the event, he also delivered an important message to the students. He said,
“Today’s freedom is not just from the British. We must also free our youth from drugs, addiction, and wrong paths. Let’s build a No Drugs India.”
His message inspired the young generation to move towards a drug-free and positive future.
