Bengaluru Dreamin’ Conference fuels innovation among the growing Salesforce Trailblazer Community

Bengaluru, INDIA — June 11 – Bengaluru Salesforce Trailblazer Community hosted the inaugural Bengaluru Dreamin’ Conference, co-founded by Rupalika Sahoo, Thamalalla Venkata Seshagiri Rao and  Akshay Vasu, in collaboration with Salesforce Technical Relations team on June 8th and 9th in the city, bringing together customers, partners, and Trailblazers from the Salesforce Ecosystem. The two-day conference attracted over 2,000 attendees and provided invaluable insights into the Salesforce ecosystem and emerging technologies like AI. The event highlighted the importance of digital transformation and the crucial role AI plays in driving organizational success and enhancing customer-centricity.

Additionally, the Bengaluru Salesforce Trailblazer Community hosted an in-person hackathon with partner companies, offering career opportunities and internships. The company also organized a training boot camp for students, non-IT professionals, and women re-entering the workforce to kick-start their Salesforce careers.

Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairperson and CEO, Salesforce India opened the session by highlighting Salesforce’s impressive growth in India. She discussed the strategic use of AI, data, and CRM technologies to drive growth and foster innovation for partners and customers. She also shared insights into how these advanced tools are shaping the future of business and enhancing customer experiences across various sectors.

The conference featured a series of sessions, panel discussions, and workshops focused on Salesforce’s growth, AI advancements, customer experiences, career transitions, and innovative business solutions.

  1. Salesforce Ecosystem:

Moderated by Kiran Manyala, Head, APAC Technical Audience Relations at Salesforce – Sanket Atal, Managing Director of Salesforce India Operations and Site Lead for Technology & Product; Nalini Krishan, Head of Sourcing, Competency, and Governance – Salesforce Practise at TCS ; Sudeep Dey, CIO, HCG Hospital and Prateek Prakash, Vice President, Digital Transformation Services, NTT DATA shared insights on the fundamentals of AI and leveraging it towards truly understanding and delighting customers.

  1. Women in Tech:

Moderated by Nalini Kirshnan, Head of Sourcing, Competency, and Governance – Salesforce Practise at TCS – Bhanu Dasgupta, Head of Customer Education APAC at Salesforce;  Swati Taunk, Salesforce MVP & Sr. Advisory Consultant at IBM and Lavanya Kothapalli, Vice President and Head Sales APAC and Europe, CriticalRiver Inc participated in a powerful panel discussion sharing their personal experiences as women in the technology industry and discussed the unique challenges and opportunities they have encountered. The panel also highlighted Salesforce’s dedication to fostering an inclusive workplace and supporting the growth and development of women in tech.

Session Highlights:

  • AI Hands-on workshop: This workshop offered over 1,000 attendees an immersive experience with Salesforce’s latest AI advancements. It provided trailblazers with a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge AI technologies and applications in a collaborative, in-depth setting. This was led by Salesforce Technical Relations team – Kiran Manyala Head, APAC Technical Audience Relations at Salesforce, Vishwa Vikas Dagala Developer Relations Expert, Senior Manager at Salesforce, Aditya Naag Topalli Lead Developer Evangelist at Salesforce, Satya Sekhar Chegodi Lead Developer Advocate at Salesforce.
  • Product Tank: Solving Business Problems: Inspired by a modified version of Shark Tank, this session involved judges presenting problem statements to the audience, who were divided into teams. These teams developed product ideas based on the challenges, received feedback and points from the judges, and competed to be selected as the winning team.
  • Motherhood to Salesforce Success: This session shared the inspiring journey of Rajeshwari Anand, Partner at Go2Mentor, who transitioned into the IT industry, specifically Salesforce, despite lacking formal education or recent experience. Motivated by her husband, a Salesforce Architect, she dedicated 18 months to mastering Salesforce, earning certifications, and building professional networks. Her efforts culminated in securing a position as a Salesforce Business Analyst, aiming to inspire others to achieve similar success through dedication and perseverance.
  • Code Wars and Architect Workshops: There were multiple tracks running parallely for each domain like Developers, admins, consultants. Dev code war, low code war, solution architect workshop, CTA workshop were the main attraction when attendees were provided problem statements to brainstorm and give presentations. These sessions helped attendees to build connections and work with them in a team to deliver the best solution.
