Let us tell you that the inter examinations were over on 14 February 2022. The evaluation work started from 26 February. During this 70 lakh copies and 70 lakh OMR sheets were checked. Now the exam result has come in just 19 days. Last time Bihar Board has given the result in just 21 days. In this way, the Bihar Board has created a new record by breaking its own record.
Making history, Bihar Board has released the results within just 19 days of the completion of the examination. Bihar Board has first released the result of the entire country. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Bihar Board has made the record of giving the first examination results. State Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary released the Intermediate results in a press conference in the presence of Anand Kishor, Chief Secretary, Education Department and Chairman of Bihar Board.
In the Intermediate Annual Examination 2022, a total of 452171 students have passed in first class, 510831 students in second class and 99550 students in third class. Thus the overall percentage of candidates passed in this exam is 80.15%.
A total of 1325749 candidates appeared in the intermediate examination this year in which 683920 students and 641829 girls were involved. This year 80.15 candidates have been successful. A total of 79.53 percent students have been successful in Arts. On the other hand, 90.38 percent students were successful in commerce while 83.7 percent students were successful in science.
In the released examination, Saurabh Kumar secured the first position in the entire Bihar by securing a total of 475 marks i.e. 94.40% in the Faculty of Science. Similarly, Ankit Kumar Gupta has secured first position in the entire state by securing 473 marks i.e. 94.6% marks in commerce faculty. In the Faculty of Arts, Sangam Raj has secured the first position in the state with 482 marks i.e. 96.4% marks.
In the Faculty of Science from the Intermediate Examination 2022, 567473 students appeared, out of which 380065 were boys and 187408 were girls. In the Faculty of Science, 265218 candidates have passed in the first division, 182919 candidates have passed in the second division and 4764 candidates have passed in the third division. A total of 452901 candidates have passed in the Faculty of Science. This year 60637 candidates had appeared in the commerce faculty, out of which 31353 candidates passed in first division, 19035 candidates passed in second division, 4434 candidates passed in third division.
This year, the board conducted class 12 exams for all streams- Arts, Commerce and Science from February 1 to February 14, 2022 in the state. The practical exam for class 12 in the state was conducted from January 10 to January 20, 2022. A total of 13.5 lakh candidates had registered for the BSEB class 12th exam this year.
