2nd April 2025: Atal Incubation Centre at Rabindranath Tagore University, one of India’s leading incubation centres, successfully concluded the much-anticipated ‘Navonmesh 2025,’ Central India’s biggest innovation carnival. Held at Scope Global Skill University, Bhopal, the two-day event featured groundbreaking innovations, highlighted emerging technologies, and emphasized entrepreneurial growth, nurturing startup ideas and fostering a culture of innovation..
Bringing together students, entrepreneurs, startups, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders, the event aimed to propel entrepreneurship and encourage technological innovation. With a vision to shape India’s future workforce, ‘Navonmesh 2025’ served as a strategic platform for discussions, breakthrough announcements, and key insights that will drive India’s innovation landscape forward.
Milestones Achieved
Over 1,600 participants registered, with 440 shortlisted to present their ideas across various tracks, including those for school students, college students, budding entrepreneurs and Startups.
Students from premier technical institutes and schools displayed over 60 groundbreaking innovations, including a mobile-based renewable energy solution, a multi-utility legged robot, an autonomous robot, and an AI-powered general-purpose assistant. The event also featured dynamic tracks such as First Cheque: Startup Pitching, where 15 startups presented their ideas to investors, and PlanX: Business Plan Battle, where teams pitched their business plans to a panel of industry experts. In addition to these showcases, the event hosted panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions focused on expanding industry collaborations, integrating emerging technologies into education, and fostering entrepreneurship as a career option among youth. This vibrant platform brought together students, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders, sparking innovation and collaboration across sectors.
Keynote sessions at the event featured Aman Gupta, Co-founder of boAt and Shark Tank India fame, in a session moderated by Dr. Pallavi Rao Chaturvedi, while Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Swiggy, delivered a standalone address. These sessions provided students and aspiring entrepreneurs with valuable insights into innovation, startup culture, and scaling businesses in a competitive market. Notable dignitaries who attended the event included Shri Inder Singh Parmar, Minister of Higher Education & Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh; Shri Chaitanya Kashyap, Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Madhya Pradesh; Dr. Bharat Sharan Singh, Chairman, MP Private University Regulatory Commission; Shri Santosh Chaubey, Chairman, AISECT; Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor of Scope Global Skill University; Dr. Nitin Vats, Director of AIC-RNTU; Dr. Abha Rishi, Executive Head of MP Startup Center; Prof. R.P. Dubey, Vice Chancellor of RNTU; and Dr. Vijay Singh, Vice Chancellor of SGSU. Their presence underscored the significance of fostering cross-sector collaboration to drive innovation and entrepreneurship.
.Madhya Pradesh reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a robust startup ecosystem through its new startup policy, with Shri Chaitanya Kashyap declaring that the state aims to become India’s leading startup hub within the next two years. A major highlight was the launch of the book ‘Big Country, Little Business’ by Shri Santosh Chaubey, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, and Dr. Pallavi Rao Chaturvedi.

The event underscored the need to strengthen entrepreneurial and innovation-driven ecosystems, highlighting the role of government bodies, private enterprises, and educational institutions in fostering scalable and inclusive solutions for emerging startups. .
As ‘Navonmesh 2025’ ended, participants expressed optimism for India’s innovation and entrepreneurial landscape. The event successfully laid the groundwork for future collaborations aimed at enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the state.
The event concluded with a call for collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders to build a resilient, future-ready workforce driving India’s global growth. This was highlighted through the recognition of winners, who received cash prizes up to ₹5 lakhs, celebrating innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. AIC-RNTU’s impact on over 30,000 students and 500+ startups, along with ₹80 million in investments, underscores the vital role of incubation and skill-building in shaping India’s entrepreneurial future.
