Chief Minister attends virtual launch of Various Schemes by the Prime Minister

New Delhi Dec 1: Chief Minister of Sikkim Prem Singh Tamang attended the launch of 10,000th Jan Aushadi Kendra at AIIMS, Deoghar inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a video conference on Thursday. These kendras will be increased from 10,000 to 25,000 further.

Furthermore, the announcement of the Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Kendra was also made during the programme.

This initiative, aims in providing 15,000 drones to Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) within the next three years to empower these groups by offering livelihood assistance, and enabling women to lease out the drones to farmers for agricultural purposes.

Congratulating on the visionary approach of the Prime Minister towards enhancing healthcare accessibility and affordability the Chief Minister mentioned that these initiative showcases the dedication and commitment of the government towards the health care system and women empowerment which will positively impact numerous individuals across the nation.
