National, 24th June 2025: The Ugandan judiciary has formally dismissed all charges against Indian entrepreneur Vasundhara Oswal, following the complete collapse of the malicious and baseless case brought against her by former employee Mukesh Menaria.
The court’s decision comes after Menaria repeatedly failed to appear, offering no evidence and no testimony to support his sensational claims. With no complaint and no credible case, the court rightfully dismissed the matter in its entirety, bringing an end to months of unwarranted legal harassment based on pure fabrication.
But rather than accept the outcome, Menaria is now forum shopping—dragging his false narrative across borders in a desperate bid to find any jurisdiction willing to entertain his lies and ultimately extract a payout. Most recently, after failing in Uganda and India, he has surfaced in Switzerland, where he is attempting to distance himself from Indian jurisdiction and manipulate the perception of Swiss legal power as superior, believing it will give him greater leverage to pressure and intimidate.
This move is not only cowardly—it is deeply disrespectful to Indian law. By deliberately avoiding Indian courts and authorities, Menaria has made it clear he does not believe in the Indian judicial system or its sovereignty.
It is a calculated attempt to escape accountability for his outstanding loans and legal liabilities in India while continuing to weaponize fabricated claims for personal gain. It’s extortion, plain and simple—fabricate a crime, trigger international legal chaos, then exploit the confusion for money.
The Oswal family possesses extensive evidence of Menaria’s calculated extortion campaign, though many critical materials cannot yet be publicly disclosed due to ongoing legal proceedings. However, as part of this release, they have included images of the luxury accommodations provided to him: a lavish room featuring underfloor heating, floor-to-ceiling windows, a private ensuite with coral-framed mirrors, and a personal television—hardly the conditions of someone mistreated or deprived thus evindencing the luxurious lifestyle he was being provided with,
In addition, Menaria was extended extraordinary generosity by his employers. He received a personal loan of $200,000, a plot of land valued at $30,000 as a gift, and a monthly salary exceeding $3,000, excluding paid accommodation, first-class travel, international tickets, stays in five-star hotels, paid holiday, and numerous other perks. He was living in comfort and privilege far beyond industry standards. But clearly, it wasn’t enough—he simply wanted more.
“This is not just a disgruntled former employee—this is an international extortionist abusing legal systems like a blackmailer shops a ransom note,” said their legal counsel
Vasundhara Oswal was wrongfully detained in Uganda for weeks, subjected to inhumane conditions, and forced to defend herself against wild allegations with no basis in fact or law. The dismissal of the charges confirms what her legal team has argued from day one: there was never a case—only a coordinated attempt to extort and destroy.
“Menaria had every opportunity to face the court and present his case,” said their legal councel. “Instead, he vanished from the legal process and is now running from one jurisdiction to another—India to Uganda to Switzerland—trying to sell the same lies. He’s not seeking justice; he’s chasing a payday. And by treating Swiss jurisdiction, which is already biased towards indian expats, as some kind of escape hatch, he’s openly disrespecting and undermining the Indian legal system.”
The Oswal family has begun legal action across multiple jurisdictions, including India , to hold Menaria and any accomplices accountable for the damage caused by his calculated fraud. Authorities are being urged to treat this for what it is: a cross-border criminal conspiracy to extort through abuse of process.
A copy of the Ugandan court’s official dismissal order accompanies this release as irrefutable confirmation that Vasundhara Oswal has been fully cleared, and that Menaria’s accusations hold no legal weight whatsoever.
