CM TAMANG LAUNCHES ‘MY TREE, MY ASSET’ DURING ADMINISTRATION AT DOORSTEP PROGRAMME

New Delhi, Jan 25: Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang met the public of Gnathang Machong constituency, East Sikkim as a part of the ‘Government at the door step’ initiative today at community hall , Pakyong.

While addressing the gathering the Chief Minister said that the meeting is for the convenience of the far fetched people who otherwise cannot meet the Chief Minister because of various reasons. The Chief Minister made it clear that the public meet is exclusively meant for respective constituencies(ward-wise) in turn.

The meeting pertained to the various public works including the release of financial aid particularly in health sector under Garib Jan Kalyan Prokostha scheme and Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance scheme. He further informed that the government has initiated various schemes regarding fertility rates in the State. Vatsalya Yojna being such one scheme that has benefited a large number of people in the state through IVF treatment.

wherein he has directed the forest department to plant hundred tree samplings with every registered newborn child, balancing nature.

The meeting had the presence of Area MLAs of Gnathang Machong and surrounding constituencies, Zilla Panchayats, DC and district officers, heads of line departments and other officials.
