August 10, 2026, Gurugram: DPS International School takes immense pride in celebrating the achievement of its students at the prestigious IMAANDAAR Programme in Pre-Law Mooting & Advocacy held at Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University. The team comprising Kyra Hamrapurkar and Avantikaa Puri was among the Top 4 teams selected for the semi-finals of the Grand Moot Court Competition, while Kyra Hamrapurkar received the ‘Best Rebuttal’ Award for her exceptional ability to respond to arguments with clarity, confidence, and strong analytical thinking.
The seven-day IMAANDAAR Programme in Pre-Law Mooting & Advocacy provided students with an enriching learning experience through sessions on advocacy, legal reasoning, negotiation, mediation, and moot court techniques. The programme offered valuable insights into how legal professionals build arguments, analyse cases, and present perspectives while upholding the values of ethics and professionalism.
Through the Grand Moot Court Competition, students applied their legal knowledge and advocacy skills in a simulated courtroom setting. Presenting arguments before experienced legal professionals, responding to questions, and receiving feedback helped them strengthen their analytical reasoning, public speaking abilities, and confidence in advocacy.
Speaking about the achievement, Ms. Rima Singh, Head of School, DPS International School, said, “We are extremely proud of Kyra and Avantikaa for their remarkable achievement at the IMAANDAAR Programme in Pre-Law Mooting & Advocacy. At DPS International School, we believe that meaningful learning experiences enable students to develop critical thinking, communication skills, and the confidence to engage with real-world challenges. Opportunities such as these allow students to explore diverse fields, apply their knowledge, and gain valuable insights beyond the classroom. This accomplishment reflects their dedication, preparation, and commitment to learning, and we congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition.”
The programme also offered students the opportunity to interact with peers from diverse backgrounds, share perspectives, and broaden their understanding of law, advocacy, and leadership. The achievement highlights DPS International School’s continued focus on experiential learning, global exposure, and the overall development of students as confident, informed, and future-ready individuals.
