From pregnancy to child care – Superwoman Term Policy is providing complete security to women

Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has launched a new term insurance policy designed specifically for women – the Superwoman Term (SWT) policy. To meet the specific needs of women at different stages of life, this plan includes standard term life coverage along with additional health and child care benefits. The plan covers 60 illnesses, including specific conditions such as breast, cervix and ovarian cancer.

According to Varun Agarwal, Head of Term Insurance, Policybazaar, women today are managing their career, care and long-term financial planning with equal efficiency, hence their insurance needs should also reflect all these aspects.

He added, “Term insurance is no longer a one-size-fits-all product. Policies like Bajaj Allianz Life Superwoman Term reflect a deliberate shift towards recognising and addressing women’s specific health and family responsibilities. With features like health management services, critical illness cover for women-specific conditions, and child care riders to support long-term parenting goals, these plans are empowering women not just as policyholders, but as key financial decision makers for their families.”

Comprehensive coverage for 60 major critical illnesses including women specific conditions
The benefits included in this term insurance reflect the insurers commitment towards meeting the needs of women. Free health management service up to Rs 36,500 per year, such facilities not only aid in disease prevention but also provide support during pregnancy, marking a significant shift towards comprehensive coverage.

Superwoman Term Plan: Benefits

Death Benefit: A lump sum benefit is given to the nominee in case of the unfortunate death of the insured person.

Terminal Illness (TI) Benefit: Lump sum benefit (up to Rs 2 crore) on diagnosis of a terminal illness.

Rider Benefits:

Critical Illness: Receive a lump sum payout on diagnosis of any of the 60 covered critical illnesses, including women-specific conditions such as cancers related to breast, corpus uteri, cervix uteri, ovary, vulva, vagina.
Child Care (optional): If the policyholder dies or becomes totally or permanently disabled, 105% of the total premiums paid till date under the rider will be paid as a lump sum payment. Also provides lump sum benefit and monthly income till the child attains the age of 25 years.

From critical illness protection to optional child care help and health-checkups, the plan aims to address the specific financial and health needs of women.
