From toned milk to full fat milk – A new Journey

Before the advent of modern machines, most of humanity consumed full fat dairy products such as full fat organic milk and fresh tasty dahi. Later, as dairy was industrialized, the medical fraternity started announcing caution in regards to the consumption of full fat dairy products. A case was made in support of low fat dairy products such as toned milk and healthy double toned milk, which the medical fraternity said was healthier in comparison to full fat dairy products. For several years now, people have been choosing low-fat dairy products for health reasons, but the tide is changing yet again, and this time people have started going back to full fat dairy products.

The recent pull towards full fat dairy products such as full fat organic milk and fresh tasty dahi comes in the wake of new research studies that have revealed that fat may not actually be the culprit for the rising health problems among the masses. As a matter of fact, full fat dairy may actually be beneficial for preventing disorders such as heart disease, diabetes, obesity, etc. However, the question arises that earlier research studies had made a case for low fat dairy products such as toned milk and healthy double toned milk and now new research studies have shown the benefits of full fat dairy products. So, what should the common man believe? What research should they follow to make their purchase decision? How do they know who is right and who is wrong?

Well, considering the fact that there is no conclusive report yet, we would like to recommend that you choose as per your specific needs. Both healthy double toned milk and full fat organic milk have more or less the same level of nutrients. The major difference is in the fat content, which is higher in full fat dairy in comparison to low fat dairy products. The best way would be to consult your doctor or dietician, who will recommenda suitable diet plan, based on your health reports.

However, there is a simpler and more effective way, wherein you learn to listen to your body and accordingly plan your diet. Your body knows best, even better than what your dietician may plan for you, so start listening to what your body is trying to tell you. If you feel like having full fat organic milk or fresh tasty dahi, just go for it, and if you are craving for healthy double toned milk, you can have that as well.
