Kanwar Singh Tanwar is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament (MP) from the Lok Sabha constituency of Amroha in the state of Uttar Pradesh. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Kanwar Singh Tanwar defeated his nearest rival Humera Akhtar of Samajwadi Party (SP) by a margin of more than 1,50,000 votes. Throughout his political career, Mr. Tanwar has actively worked for the betterment of the people living in villages. He has been associated with various welfare projects such as drinking water supply to remote villages, mobile medical dispensary and medical services to farmers, health camps in villages, and enabling social justice for people living in rural areas.
Early Life and Education
Kanwar Singh Tanwar was born on January 21, 1961 to Shri Hukam Chand and Smt. Narani Devi. He was born in Asola in Delhi. He has completed his education up to school level. He married Rajwati on November 10, 1977.
