NBCC Proposes Bus Port Development in Namley and Gangtok

New Delhi, April 1: The National Building Construction Company (NBCC), a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Government of India, has expressed keen interest in developing bus ports at Namley and Gangtok.

During their visit on Sunday evening, the NBCC team, led by the Assistant General Manager (AGM), presented a detailed redevelopment plan for the proposed projects to Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang.

“This initiative aims to enhance the state’s transportation infrastructure, ensuring a more efficient and convenient travel experience for commuters”, informed the Chief Minister.

He further welcomed this initiative, recognizing its potential to boost transportation efficiency in the state.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister extended his best wishes to NBCC for their support and successful execution of the project.

Notably, the construction and upgradation will be undertaken at NBCC’s own cost, reflecting their commitment to improving urban mobility and strengthening public transport facilities.
