Saarathi Finance Adds 11 Branches Across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to Deepen MSME Lending Network

  • MSME-focused NBFC expands into tier II and tier III markets as part of its next phase of growth

HYDERABAD, 03 August 2026: Saarathi Finance, a non-banking financial company (NBFC) focused on India’s underserved MSME sector, has expanded its footprint with 11 new branches across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during June and July 2026, marking its fastest regional expansion over a two-month period.

The company has opened seven branches in Andhra Pradesh at Machilipatnam, Madanapalle, Amalapuram, Tadepalligudem, Nandigama, Anantapur and Tuni, along with four branches in Telangana at Adilabad, Nagarkurnool, Kothagudem and Siddhipet. Each branch will offer Saarathi’s flagship products, Secured Business Loans and Loan Against Property, catering to micro and small businesses, traders and self-employed professionals in these towns and adjoining markets.

The expansion forms part of Saarathi’s second phase of growth. After closing its first year with more than 70 branches across six states, the company plans to add another 50 to 60 branches nationwide. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remain priority markets because of their large MSME base, strong entrepreneurial activity and continued demand for formal secured credit in semi-urban and rural centres.

The company identifies new markets using a combination of economic growth indicators, MSME concentration, customer profiles, regional credit behaviour and competitive intensity. The newly opened locations were selected after meeting these criteria.

India’s MSME credit gap is often quoted as a single figure of nearly Rs 44 lakh crore, but the financing challenge is fundamentally local. The financing needs of an aquaculture business in coastal Andhra Pradesh are very different from those of a trader or agri-processing unit in interior Telangana. By establishing branches closer to these businesses, we can better understand local markets, strengthen underwriting and improve access to formal secured credit where it is needed the most.”

Each branch will be headed by a Branch Manager and supported by a Branch Credit Manager and local relationship teams. The company plans to continue strengthening its presence across both states as part of its ongoing national expansion.
