Soha Ali Khan and Nushrratt Bharuccha reveal candid details about themselves while speaking about Chhorii 2 in an IMDb exclusive

Chhorii 2, the horror thriller starring Soha Ali Khan and Nushrrat Bharuccha is set to release in the coming days and is highly anticipated amongst fans and critics. The film, directed by Vishal Furia is a sequel to the 2021 release Chhorii and is based on the story of a mother who vows to rescue her seven year old daughter from being sacrificed by an evil cult to satisfy their resident leader, while fighting societal superstitions and the horror that continues to haunt her and young women around her. Soha Ali Khan and Nushrrat Bharuccha recently appeared on IMDb, sharing their experience shooting for the film.

When asked about the most challenging day from the sets of Chhorii 2, Nushrat Bharuccha said, “For me, it’s the entire sequence shot around the well. The entire action that happens in the well and me falling into the well. It’s because I am actually terrified of water. I was too scared to do that but I had to do that.”

Soha Ali Khan shared her challenging experience, mentioning, “It was physically very challenging for me to do this role. Because in a lot of it, I am physically wrapped up in a black blanket, hanging from ropes. I was completely helpless. If someone would have physically dropped me, I couldn’t even protect my face. It actually required some core strength to be able to levitate and move like that. It was physically a demanding role as well.

When Soha Ali Khan was asked about what made her choose Chhorii 2 as her return to films, she said, “I really enjoyed the first film and you know when they’re making part two of something, they are on to a good thing. I have always wanted to play a negative character and never been given the opportunity. This is like a proper prosthetics, VFX, really eerie sinister character. That’s just a part of my personality that I’ve never ever explored. I trusted Vishal, I trusted Vikram. The vision was very clear and I’m proud of it.”
